You want refund your Pokémon Go Fest here's how

Niantic/The Pokémon Company

Pokémon Go Fest attendees may now submit requests for ticket refunds, Niantic said in an email going out to ticket holders.
Several reports are in from those who have received the email, which provides details on how to get the promised in-game credit, legendary Pokémon Lugia and $20 refund. Reversal, a big YouTuber in the Pokémon Go community who helped cover Pokémon Go Fest for Niantic, was the first to publicize the text of the message on Twitter.
“To receive a ticket refund, you must submit a request by completing the form found here,” the email reads, with a link out to the refund site. (We’ll attach that in when possible; Niantic has yet to provide this information publicly.)
All refund requests must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. CT on Aug. 27, giving visitors more than a month to fill out the form. Niantic expects to process these refunds by Sept. 1, with about 10 days of wiggle room there.
As for those who bought their tickets from the secondary market, it’s up to third-party sellers to decide whether or not to offer their own refunds, Niantic said.
“If you decided to resell your ticket, we encourage you to do the right thing and pass this refund on to whomever purchased the ticket,” according to the email.
The other two compensatory items will be available “within the next 7 business days,” the email says. These should appear automatically in the accounts of those who scanned their special QR code during Pokémon Go Fest.
The email ends with another apology from Niantic, the latest in a string of them for Pokémon Go Fest. The disastrous event was marred by server problems, which left thousands unable to play the game.
