Anushka Shetty is one of the leading actresses of the South Indian film industry. Co-starring with some of the top names in the industry, Anushka has managed to chart out a name of her own in the industry.
Delivering stellar performances in films like 'Arundathi', 'Vedam', 'Nanna' and
'Baahubali 2', Anushka was born Sweety Shetty in an ethnic Tuluva household in Mangalore. She later went on to graduate in computer applications and train for yoga under Bharat Thakur.
She also worked as a yoga instructor for a while before making her debut in Puri Jagannadh's 'Super' with Nagarjuna and Ayesha Takia. But it was her film 'Arundathi' in 2009 that turned around her career, with the actress getting offered stronger roles.
Anushka Shetty is shooting for the tri-lingual film 'Bhaagamathie' with G Ashok, with the film set for release on January 12, 2018.
